Built from 1983 through 2004, the KX 500 are considered by many to be the best all around, big bore two strokes ever built. With Kawasaki's power (KIPS) valve, these bikes put their big power to the ground. While other 500's are spinning their tires, the KX is hooking up and roosting away.

. Engine runs great (no oil leaks). Nice round wheels (no dings). Nice FMF pipe (no dings?). Brakes feel great. Easton fat bars and clamps--CR high bend. Devol aluminum front disc guard. Good rubber. Suspension feels excellent no leaking from rear shock but slight oil weepage from right fork leg seal.
ABOUT THIS BIKE: Typical Arizona sun bike. ALL plastic is sun roached. One plastic front fork leg protector is missing and the other one is toast. Seat cover is crispy. Oversize fuel tank does hold fuel with no leaks. Suspension feels excellent. FMF Gold Series pipe with no dings. Original silencer.
Bike will need cosmetic resto, but mechanically speaking this is an excellent core bike to customize your way or stock.
