This is a REAL and MATCHING NUMBERED 1971 DT-1 MX 250cc. This bike RUNS fantastic and is extremely fast.
This bike is NOT a stripped-down enduro. It's a factory Yamaha MX model with lots of well thought out mods.

Bike has 1974 YZ front end, rear swingarm, seat, clutch actuator, and various other bits from the YZ-A model bikes.
Small Hi-point aluminum tank strapped on via YZ-A style. PVL electronic ignition. Works Performance shocks, CR bend fat bars & clamps, Engine lowered in frame 1.5". 2000's Yamaha YZ250 pipe gives bike incredible torque. Has aftermarket YZ style clutch actuator rod. Cleated racing foot pegs. Currently suspended for heavy, fast riders. I'm 6'3" / 240 lbs and bike feels perfect for me.
Bike is extremely fast and is very forgiving for novice riders, yet fast enough for expert level winning as well. Huge torque & mid-range, with nice top-end power. Perfect for vintage MX.
Lots of work invested into this bike makes it possibly one of the most competitive sportsman racers out there. This bike will EASILY give '73'/'74 Honda Elsinores, Yamaha YZ-A's, and Ossa Phantoms a run for their money. This is a FUN bike and will make for LOTS of smiles as you roost away on this 'dinosaur'.
