This listing features a Scarce 1914 The Sterling Bank of Canada note in PMG Certified VG10 condition (thinning and tears). Charlton reference# 700-12-02.  The note featured a desirable Locomotive Vignette at center.
The Sterling Bank operated from 1905-1924, when it merged with the Standard Bank of Canada which later went under the roof of the Bank of Commerce.
